Admission Process
Application forms can be purchased from the College office on all working days between 9am and 4pm, after the notification for admission from the Davangree University.
- The duly filled in application should reach the college office within the stipulated time.
- Application form can be submitted in person in the College Department or by post with a self-addressed envelop to “The Principal, Don Bosco Degree College, Padma Layout, Near BCM Hostel, Shani mahatma Temple Road, Challekere Road, Chitradurga, Karnataka- 577501. (College is not responsible for any postal mishap.)
- Application form should has to be enclosed with the attested documents of the following:
- The Qualifying Examination Marksheet.
- Community Certificate
- Baptism Certificate (if applicable) and Catholic students must furnish a certificate from the Parish Priest.
- Certificate of proof SC/ST, differently abled, sports and ex-serviceman.
- Aadhar Card Copy
- Scanned copies of applicants photograph, mother’s and Father’s photographs, local guardians photograph (for out station students) in JPG or JPEG format.
- Incomplete application form will be rejected.
- Any incorrect, false or misleading information in the application form will disqualify the application and if already admitted, will lead to the cancellation of his/her admission.
Documents needed during payment of fees
- Original and photocopy of Marksheet of Class X and Class XII.
- Original Transfer certificate
- Character certificate.
Selection Process
- At the time of interview the original documents of all the certificates enclosed with the application should be produced.
- Information regarding interview for provisionally selected candidates will be sent by Email/SMS. They have to present themselves along with their parents for interview with the principal on the date mentioned in the Call Letter. Their absence shall lead to cancellation of Admission.
- No information will be sent to the candidate who have not been selected for the interview.
- Students should produce all the original documents for verification at the time of interview.
- Selected candidates must pay the prescribed fees and submit the original certificates in the College Office.
